Summer is almost over

The girls had a memorable summer this year. We revisited some summer traditions and added some new ones (Cape Cod). They experienced camp, made new friends and spent time with old ones. Learn how to swim and swam every single day, enjoyed learning hand clapping games, spent a lot of time outdoors doing camp stuff, learned to make gimp bracelet and all sorts of artsy stuff that I am jealous I wasn't the one teaching them. Sofia has always been a very social child around other kids, but this summer I saw Alessandra blossom and become much more interested in playing with others as well. I loved when the kids came home and tough me something new. We will always have fond memories of Summer of 2011.
