Clinton Halloween

Tonight was Halloween in Clinton. Instead of going trick or treating the girls decided to stay home to pass out candy. Every time the door bell ringed it was a party. They were possibly more exited tonight then getting the candy last night.

Halloween 2011 is officially over! Now we can start planing for Bahamas :-)

American Girl movie

I put on the American Girl movie "Samantha" today. In this movie Samantha becomes best friend with one of the workers daughters. Some parts are very said. Samantha lives with her grandmother because both her parents passed away and her best friend's mom has passed away as well. Sofia decided right away the movie was too scary for her, went downstairs with daddy to color. Alessandra wanted to watch the whole movie, but that was with lots of tears. There is one part of the movie that a boy gets hurt at a sweat shop. Alessandra was super upset and asked me: "Is this for real?" After the movie we had lots of talks about giving and helping the less fortunate. Although it is difucult for kids this age to grasp the idea that there are people who have a lot less then they do.

Trick or Treat

Halloween was postponed to Saturday 11/5 in Lancaster. The girls were so excited about all the candy and trick or treating with their cousin. Happy Halloween!
